Right now the site only really has 1 plot, which isn't very big and doesn't invole many people so I thought way not we do what old member Usagi did? She called it, "The Backstory Project". Mabe we can come up with more plots and get inactive members posting (and it's fun). It's very simple. You tell a story about your character's past that hasn't full been explained or even mentioned. There are a few rules though. Rule 1: It must be at least four paragraphs, preferably longer paragraphs, but there aren't real restrictions. Rule 2: Try to use correct spelling and grammar. That would be nice for anyone who tries to read it. Rule 3: Follow rules one and two. For example go here: Backstory Project (Scene 1)(Mainly cause I still working on mine )

Birth Of The Immortals
The year of 1882 brought with it a peculiar event. On the early morning of February 29, a healthy pair of twins was born to a Madame Riquoir in her quaint, cottage abode on the French countryside. More than delighted at this long-awaited arrival, Mrs. Riquoir and her husband lavishly doted upon their new children all of the niceties that money would allow. They attended an elite school, possessed all that they could desire, and were, for the most part, just a normal pair of happy (quite spoiled) children. Everything about the two from their brown, curly hair and common appearance right down to their plain speech made the two nearly invisible in the eyes of the world. It wasn't until 1898 that the names Gabriel and Aurore Riquoir would become a great point of gossip among the French people for years to come.
"Come on, Aurore," Gabriel said, almost nervously as his sister ventured blindly ahead of him. "Put that book away. You can read it when we get home. Mom told us to be careful with all the disappearances that have been going on." He stared helplessly at the girl as she continued on ahead, her face buried obliviously into the novella. A shiver overtook him as his feet tramped loudly on the cobbled road, footsteps echoing in the stiff air. It was useless. Whenever she got enveloped in a story, it was impossible to draw her back out. Even with her small frame in sight, Gabriel felt an unexplainable fear overtake him as she continued over the slight crest of the bridge, and he broke out into a sprint. "Aurore! Really! Wait-"
Aurore's tan fingers gripped eagerly at the corners of her book as brown eyes flew diligently across the pages, her pace intensifying as the story gained magnitude. Monsieur Gondelle, famous detective and debonair savior of the darling Miss DeJarnette, was just on the brink of solving his greatest case yet! He braved death on a mission deep inside the villain's lair and outwitted the guards, victory seeming imminent. But what he didn't know was that Monsieur Bennette waited for him just inside... Aurore took in a deep breath as she read and nearly tore the page in her haste to discover her dear Gondelle's fate. A soft scream escaped her as she ran full force into something, the book falling to the ground as she was ripped back into reality. Instinctively, Aurore sought to retrieve her lost prize, but this intention was shattered instantly as she was drawn into the cold gaze of the being with which she had collided. A man clothed in a flowing, black robe towered ominously over her, his papery white shirt ripped and splattered with blood. An ebony patch of disheveled hair lay atop his cold face, grey eyes piercing through the wicked smile that caressed his visage. Gabriel's calls from behind were cut short, and she found herself capable of no reply, unable to even move her hands which were still poised in the act of rescuing the forsaken book. A small gasp echoed from her open mouth, and the world around her seemed to resume its motion with a stunning force. A gaunt hand was produced from the coat's many folds and entwined itself in Aurore's thick hair, yellowed fingernails cutting viciously into her scalp as he pulled her closer. The girl struggled in vain against the him, but he lifted her to his mouth without even the slightest hint of effort. Fangs sunk into the dark flesh of her neck and made her entire body tense in panic and agony. Straining limbs dropped uselessly to her side as all strength was sapped from her muscles, and dots began to swim lazily through her vision, mind growing weak and dizzy. She called desperately out for her brother, but the words remained trapped deep inside her as reality slipped away uninhibited. Her head fell carelessly forward, and Aurore was vaguely aware of the man's filthy mane of hair brushing against her face as she drifted into the darkness.
Gabriel watched in complete helplessness as his sister stood before the stranger, fragile head tipped back to meet his frightening gaze. The cloak flew open as the man lunged at Aurore and drew her thrashing body into his arms. Awakened by this advancement, Gabriel looked wildly around for help, but found the foggy scene completely desolate of any form of salvation. He was the only one who could rescue her now. Dropping to his knees, the boy prised up a loose brick from the cobbled trail and hurried toward where the beast stood. The creature, taking no notice of him, drank greedily from the gash on her neck as Gabriel hurled the stone at it with all of his strength. His block caught the man squarely on the forehead, but the blow seemed to have no effect on it whatsoever. The vampire glanced up at him amusedly, a thick rivulet of blood running from the corner of his mouth, and grinned icily. Aurore's body collapsed lifelessly to the ground as she was released, and a quiet hiss filled the air as the creature laughed coldly. The cloak fluttered as it turned, and, in seconds, the figure had disappeared as he dashed to the trees under the silvery light.
((OOC: Sorry, I'll finish it later.))

Interesting Discovery
The giant cat stared down at the tiny rabbit that gave a shriek of fear. Just as the cat was about to pounce the door opened and two young girls entered the room. One had brown hair just past her shoulder and brown eyes, the other had shoulder length blond hair and pale blue eyes. They were ten year old Kikyo and Sanna. Kikyo gasped and immediately fell upon the rabbit, scooping him up and showers him with kisses and hugs. “Sanna, How many times have I told you not to leave Ginger alone when you here!” As Kikyo continued to coo softly to Hope, Sanna kneeled down next to Ginger and began scolding her about right and wrong and that is was wrong to eat bunnies. Two Weeks later… As Kikyo flew up and down on the shabby park swing Hope sniffed hopefully among the flower beds for something to munch on. There was a rustling noise; Hope froze, ears swiveling in all directions for the source of the sound. Out of the bushes came Ginger, Hope was about to spring away but then the cat spoke, “I’m not going to eat you. I can’t or I’m in trouble so I might as well have a little adventure with you.” Hope looked surprised and for a moment he did not believe the cat, but he decided to trust her. Following the cats lead they began walking though the brush that covered the soft grass. Off in the distance came a bang, startled Hope sprang forward rushing though the brushes without thought of were he was heading. Ginger followed at top speed, tripped and went spinning into Hope. Rolling down a small hill they landed with a thud on a wire wall, there was a loud click as the cage door slammed down locking them in. They were in an animal cage. Ginger and Hope were trapped.
